Minced Meat with Spinach
Eid Al Adha is nearing and we at The Recipes of India is all set for the meaty preparations for this day. Do have a look here and try our recipes for this Eid. In the meantime, I'm sharing one more minced meat recipe combined with spinach or palak. It does tastes awesome....

Minced meat with spinach

Qeema Palak

Ingredients: 
Minced meat/Qeema - 1/2 kg
Spinach/Palak - 2 bunch, washed and chopped finely
Cinnamon - 1 inch
Cardamom - 2Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Onions - 2 medium, finely sliced
Tomatoes - 1 medium, chopped
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Green chillies - 2-3
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
Fenugreek leaves/kasoori methi - 1 tsp
Salt - to taste
Oil

Method: 
In a kadhai, heat oil and add cinnamon, cardamom and cumin seeds. Saute for 30 seconds

Add onions and cook till it turns light golden in colour

Add ginger garlic paste and cook till raw smell disappears

Add tomatoes, turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder and salt. Cook till tomatoes are fully mashed up and oil separates

Add minced meat/qeema and mix on high flame till it changes colour.

Cook on medium flame till all water dries up and oil separates

Add spinach and give a mix

Add little water and once it starts boiling, cover and cook on medium flame till all water dries up

Add kasoori methi, garam masala powder, green chillies and saute for a minute

Serve with roti/rice
