Pizza making involves 3 steps: the dough, sauce and assembling and baking




Veg Pizza Recipe

The Dough
Ingredients:
Maida - 2 1/2 cups
Yeast - 2 tsp
Salt - 1 1/2 tsp
Sugar - 1 1/2 tsp
Oil - 5 tbsp, I prefer olive oil
Baking powder - 2 pinch
Warm water/milk for making the dough

Method:
Add yeast, salt, sugar and half cup maida in warm water and keep it covered for 10 minutes

Take the flour in a mixing bowl and add oil

Mix the yeast mixture in the flour and knead to a very soft dough. Add milk and knead it for about 5-6 minutes

Brush oil all over the dough

Cover the bowl with squeezed wet cloth and keep it in warm place. It will rise to double after 1 hour

Knead once again lightly and let it ferment again for 30 minutes

Sprinkle flour to place the dough and cut it into two portions

Put it in the greased baking tray and spread with hand and let it rest again for 15 minutes in a warm place

Pizza Sauce
Ingredients:
Tomatoes - 2 medium size, skin removed and finely chopped
Garlic - 2 cloves, finely chopped
Oregano - 1/4 tsp
Salt - 1/4 tsp
Sugar - 1/4 tsp
Black pepper powder - a pinch
Oil - 1 tbsp

Method:
Heat oil over medium heat, saute the garlic
Add tomatoes, salt, sugar, oregano, pepper powder and cook over low flame till all water dries up
Let the mixture cool
Assembling and preparation
Ingredients:
Mozerella cheese - 1 cup, shredded
Capsicum - 1 finely chopped or as desired
Black/ green olives - 1/2 cup, chopped or as desired
Onion - finely chopped
tomatoes - finely chopped

Method:
On the base, apply the tomato sauce

Sprinkle little cheese evenly on it

Then add all the items for topping evenly

Cover it with cheese throughout

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and cook for 20 minutes

Cook till base is cooked properly and the cheese is fully melted
